Violet M. Cech 85, of Lewistown, died  February 27, 2005 at Heartland Healthcare in Canton. She was born on May 29, 1919 to Frank Cech and Anna Halfpap. She was divorced.

She worked as a bookkeeper.

She is survived by two cousins- John Beck of Sycamore IL. and Lois Saenger.

She is preceeded in death by one brother-Gordon Cech and her parents.

Funeral services will be held on March 4, 2005 at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst IL. There will be no visitation. Burial will take place at Mt. Emblem cemetery in Elmhurst IL.
