Virginia Louise Cohee

1916 - 2010

Virginia Louise Cohee, 94, of Havana, passed away at Havana Health Care Center at 9:25 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2010. She was born September 2, 1916 in Chicago to Thomas and Minnie (Moss) Holmes. She married Charles H. “Hank” Cohee on November 27, 1933 in Havana. He preceded her in death on January 20, 1993.

Mrs. Cohee is survived by two sons, William Henry Cohee of Bath, Adrian Eugene Cohee of Havana, three daughters, Sheila Munsch, Denise Maberry and Brenda Cohee, all of Havana, 32 grandchildren, 67, great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Lilian, Doris and Linda.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sons, Larry, Thomas Lee, Nelson, daughter Sue Ann Yaeck and brothers Gerald and Melvin Steger.

Mrs. Cohee was a member of Faith Christian Fellowship.

Graveside services will be held at Bath Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 4, 2010. Rev. Ann Windsor will officiate.
