Virginia "Tozer" Hinrichs 1918 -2008 Virginia “Tozer” Hinrichs, 90, of Galesburg passed away September 27, 2008 at Marigold Health Care Center in Galesburg. Virginia was born July 21, 1918 to Alva and Anna Gordon Tozer in Petersburg. She married Harold Hinrichs November 23, 1945 at Rock Creek Presbyterian Church. Virginia worked in her home as a homemaker, and a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Petersburg. Virginia is survived by her daughter Linda Hinrichs of Galesburg, one sister Alice Horn of Petersburg, and one brother Harold (wife Evelyn) Tozer of Springfield, as well as several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Harold, two brothers, and two sisters. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Central Presbyterian Church in Petersburg with Rev. Julie Peterson officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Petersburg. Memorials may be made to Central Presbyterian Church or to the Arthritis Foundation.
