Vivian R. Snedigar 1925 - 2008
Vivian R. Snedigar, 82 of Greenview, passed away Monday March 24, 2008 at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield. She was born April 12, 1925, in Knowlton, WI. to Clarence and Rose Duncan Breitenstein. She married Charles Gano Snedigar in Springfield November 6, 1945. He preceded her in death in September 1985. Mrs. Snedigar graduated from high school in Mosinee, Wi. She was a bookkeeper for many years last working for Cramer Machinery in Greenview. She was a member of the Greenview Christian Church. She is survived by one daughter in law Joan (Wendell) Snedigar-Sutton of Girard, IL. two grandsons Darrell C. Snedigar of Loves Park, Il., Donald C. Snedigar of Dallas, Tx., two great grandchildren, Christopher Thomas Snedigar and Samantha Kay Snedigar both of Loves Park, Il., one sister Eva Dvorak of Plover, Wi., and several nieces and nephews Mrs. Snedigar is preceded in death by her husband, one son, Thomas Edwin Snedigar, two brothers, Harlow Breitenstein, and Patrick Breitenstein, three sisters, Joyce Wanserski, Marion Larson and Bernadetta Mrozinski. Funeral services will be held on Friday March 28, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Greenview Christian Church with visitation one hour before the service. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Greenview, IL. Memorial Contributions may be made Greenview Christian Church or to St. Johns Hospice Unit. Hurley Funeral Home in Greenview is in charge of arrangements.
