Vivian Thomas 1920 - 2008
Vivian Thomas, 87, of Petersburg died on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at 2:45 pm at Menard Convalescent Center in Petersburg. She was born on August 30, 1920 in Beardstown to George and Mary Reindl Fry. She is survived by two sons, Julius Thomas and Douglas (Kay) Thomas all of Petersburg; three daughters, Carol (Mike) Cowan of Greenvalley, Janet Barnes of Petersburg, and Adaline (Robert) Woolsey of Salisbury; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Audrey Fricke; a granddaughter, Pamela Fricke; a grandson, John Woolsey; and one great granddaughter, Maria Thomas. She had worked in food service at Petersburg School and Boys Correction Center of New Salem. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Rose Hill Cemetery.
