Wanda Arlene Beebe 1931 - 2006
Wanda Arlene Beebe, 75, of Mason City, died at her residence at 5:35 p.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2006. She was born May 3, 1931 in Malone Twp., Tazewell County, IL to Harlan and Zelma (Griffin) Crawford. She married Donald Beebe on August 1, 1964 in Mason City. He survives. Mrs. Beebe is survived by her husband Donald of Mason City and one son Jason Beebe of Tucson, AZ. Also surviving are two brothers: Gene Crawford of Lacrosse, WI and Joe Crawford of Kerrville, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Paula Rae Mason, one sister Alberta Crawford Hawks and one brother Everett Crawford. Mrs. Beebe was a member of the Mason City Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Mason City High School. She hand-painted china at the Stetson China Factory in Lincoln, IL until its closing in 1965. She loved her family and arts and crafts. Funeral services will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with visitation two hours prior to the service. Rev. H. Curtis McCallister will officiate. Burial will follow the services at Mason City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mason City Baptist Church.
