Willard R. "Pott" Clark

Willard R. "Pott" Clark, 84, of Bath, IL died at his home at 9:30 a.m., Friday September 8, 2006. He was born November 24, 1921 in Bath to Robert C. and Ruby (Carlock) Clark. He married Marjorie Lindsay on October 9, 1948 in Havana, IL. She preceded him in death on March 28, 2003.
Mr. Clark is survived by four daughters: Patricia (David) Howard of Springfield, IL; Connie Clark of Bath; Chris (Wayne) Youell of Havana and Becky (Rodney) King of Oakford, IL; and one son Mark (Amy) Clark of Kilbourne. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie, one brother Wilbur and his parents.
Mr. Clark worked as a commercial fisherman. He had retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation. With IDOT, he had worked in the Mason City and Petersburg areas. He was a member of Havana VFW Post #6408 in Havana after serving in the Army in WWII. He was also a member of Ducks Unlimited.
Funeral services will be held at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana on Monday, September 11, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday evening, also at the funeral home. Rev. Warren Hughes will officiate.
