William T. Frazier

(1914-2010)

Havana, IL - William T. Frazier, 95, of Havana passed away at 3:58 pm Sat. April 24, 2010 at the Havana Healthcare Center. He was born Dec. 3, 1914 in Wrights, IL (Greene County) the son of Alva and Lucy Ann Smith Frazier. He married Ethel Ora Nichols June 17, 1936 in Jacksonville, IL and she survives.

He was a 64 year member of Lodge #80 AF & AM in White Hall, a lifetime member of Havana Post #6408 VFW, and a US Veteran serving in the navy seabees during WWII in New Caldonia.

Mr. Frazier worked for many years for CIPS retiring as a manager January 1, 1978 in Havana.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Dr. Jane Frazier of Havana. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

Cremation rites have been accorded and burial of his cremains will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Alzheimers Association or the charity of the donor’s choice. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements.
