Willis W. Cole ,81 of 19607 CR 2670 E. Forest City, IL. died on February 6, 2005 at 3:45 p.m. at Hopedale Medical Complex in Hopedale. He was born on June 28, 1923 in Enion, IL. to Ross Cole and Ethel F. Ward. He married Martha L. Flowers on September 9, 1949, she survives.

He has one son- Marvin B. (Leona) Cole of Forest City, IL., and one daughter- Susan J. (Dan) Dessing of Athens, IL. He has 3 grandchildren- Jeremy & Stacy Cole and Shelley Shaw and 2 great-grandchildren. One sister- Bernita Howe of Havana, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. 

He worked as a farmer in the agriculture business. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Havana and served in the Navy in WWII.

Services were held on February 10, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with a visitation from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9 at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana.
