Bonnie M. Thomas Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Bonnie Mae Thomas, 73, of Mason City passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. She was born on November 3, 1948 in Springfield to Lewis Leon and Lola May (Goodin) Griffin. On June 13, 1975 in Mason City she married Harold “Archie” Thomas who preceded her in death in 2011. Bonnie is survived by her son David (Debby) List of Seymour, TN, honorary daughter Gina (Ty) Horn of Mason City, brother Robert (Judy) Griffin, 3 sisters: Betty Griffin, Beverly(Floyd "Jr.") Williams and Brenda (Kevin) Wetter, 11 grandchildren: Ashley, Megan, Jenna, Jaide, Danielle, Courtney, Seth, Kaitlyn, Alexa, Macie, Dawn and Brandy and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and infant brother Richard. Bonnie was a lifelong member of the Assembly of God Church in Mason City. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, drag races, traveling but most importantly spending time with her grandchildren. A funeral is planned for Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Assembly of God Church, 121 E. Arch St., Mason City. Visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM also at the church. Burial to follow the service at Mason City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Assembly of God Church. Online condolences may be left at www.hurleyfh.com.
