Cathy Darlene Snyder, 69, of Springfield, Illinois, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021, at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born September 12, 1952, in Springfield, the daughter of Joseph and Delores (Powell) Snyder. Cathy started working for the State of Illinois immediately following high school until she retired. Cathy is survived by her daughter, Melissa (significant other Chris) Snyder of Springfield; her grandchildren, Adrian, Donte and Zayden; and her siblings, Lisa (husband Larry) Mitchell of Springfield, Jack Snyder of Kilbourne, Illinois, Ronnie (wife Becky) Snyder of Kilbourne and Larry (wife Rosanne) Snyder of Petersburg, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Brenda Hanna. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021, from 5 pm to 7 pm at Hurley Funeral Home in Petersburg, Illinois.
