Donna Rae Morgan, 94, of Mason City passed away at Mason City Area Nursing Home on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Donna was born on September 24, 1927 to Ellis & Anna (Meyer) Butts. She married William “Bill” Morgan in Greenview. He preceded her in death. Donna is survived by son Tim Morgan of Mason City, 4 grandchildren: Jake (Robyn) Morgan, David Morgan, Zach Morgan and Maggie Morgan, 2 Great Grandchildren Hannah & Greyson Morgan. Her siblings Gary (MaryAnne) Butts, Bobby (Karen) Butts, JoAnne Chambers and Connie Butts. Donna was preceded b in death by her husband William, her son Bill, 1 brother Bill Butts and 2 sisters Norma Meyer and Ruby Doan. Donna was a member of Mason City United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday school teacher. She was a secretary for the Mason City Grade School. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services for Donna will be held at the United Methodist Church in Mason City on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM also at the church, Pastor Molly Spence-Hawk officiating, burial to follow at Mason City Cemetery.
