Jo Ann LaMaster Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jo-Ann LaMaster, 74, of Petersburg, Illinois passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at her home. She was born on July 9, 1947, in Springfield, IL to George W. and Florance Kelly. She married Donald LeRoy LaMaster and celebrated 50 years of marriage together before his passing in 2016. Jo-Ann is survived by her sons, David (Sandra K) LaMaster, Carl William LaMaster, Patrick Lee LaMaster, all of Petersburg; grandchildren, Tiffany (Raymond Gray) LaMaster of Athens, David LeRoy LaMaster II of Petersburg; great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Scarlett Jo, Colton James, Kaleb LaMaster, Vivian Gray, and one baby boy on the way; five siblings, Wanda Angel, Darlene Kelly, Tom Kelly, Edward Kelly, Bill Kelly; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Daisy Mae Kelly, Barbara Ann Meller, and Jack Kelly. Jo-Ann was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed scripture readings on Sundays. She loved being outdoors and was always a generous person, willing to help anyone in their time of need. Jo-Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the children. A graveside service will be held for Jo-Ann on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Farmer’s Point Cemetery near Petersburg, IL, at 10:30 a.m. John Kelly will officiate. Memorials may be made to the family.
