Keith Lee Deweese, 60, of Kilbourne passed away at his home at 11:56 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. He was born on March 5, 1962 in Hopedale, Illinois to Jesse and Ruby (Slack) Deweese. He married Melody Hester on July 5, 1980 in Delavan, Illinois. Keith is survived by his wife, Melody Deweese, of Kilbourne, son, Joshua (Jenifer) Deweese, of Lewistown, daughter, Jessica (Ronald) Cozad, of Havana, and grandson, Caleb Deweese, of Lewistown. He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings. Keith was a member of the Havana Church of Christ. He farmed for Yontz Farms in San Jose for 30 years before retirement. He enjoyed baking, taxidermy, and hunting. His favorite pastime was playing with his grandson, Caleb, who he was very proud of. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Havana Church of Christ, with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Pastor Bill Boyce will officiate.
