Shirley Annette Abbott (nee Carlock) 64 of Springfield, MO, went to be with the Lord June 9, 2022. She was born December 30th 1957 in Jacksonville, Ill. She married Paul Henry Abbott on October 23, 1982 in Virginia, Ill. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She worked for Pryor Public Schools, Southside Christian Church, and the Illinois Secretary of State. The most important job she had was Grandmother to her 3 grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Paul H. Abbott of Springfield, MO, son Nathan L. Abbott of Frisco, TX, and daughter Rachel E. Hulett (Adam), and 3 grandchildren Quinn, Allie, and Benjamin Hulett all of Ozark, MO, sister Karen Boeker of Lake St. Louis, MO, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Ina Carlock (nee Marcy), sister Brenda Carlock, and nephew Brandon Boeker. The first visitation will be held Sunday, June 12th at the Greenlawn East Funeral Home of Springfield, MO from 4-6pm. A second visitation will be held Tuesday, June 14th at Lintner-Hurley Funeral Home in Chandlerville, Ill from 4-7pm. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 15th at the Chandlerville Christian Church at 10am. Burial will be at Chandlerville Cemetery.
