Paul Warren Davis

February 21, 1960 - January 7, 2021

Paul Warren Davis, 60, of Peoria, passed away at OSF - St. Francis Medical Center, in Peoria, at 2:25 p.m., on Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was born February 21, 1960, in Quincy, Illinois, to Dr. Ralph F. and Elizabeth (McNaughton) Davis. Paul is survived by one brother: Fletcher (Susan) Davis and one sister: Charlotte (Tim) Hoverder, as well as four nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Paul attended Quincy High School, where he participated in orchestra as 2nd Violin at various State of Illinois Competitions. He graduated from Kemper Military School, where he proudly played the tuba in the band. He later attended Culver Stockton College. His hobbies included HAM and CB Radio. He was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church. He had been awarded a Weight Watcher’s award for weight loss. He was a 30 year resident of Sharon Healthcare in Peoria, Ill and kept in close contact with his family over the years. Paul enjoyed listening to classical music,  to international news broadcasts over the internet and kept a cheerful outlook. He is remembered by friends and family and will be missed by all. Graveside services will be held at Greenmount Cemetery, in Quincy, Illinois, on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements.
